WLM-Emails switching from AT&T to Comcast internet

Will i lose my current and old AT&T emails in Windows Live Mail when i switch from AT&T internet to Comcast internet? I understand i can no longer use the ATT email address, but will I LOSE all my emails in my inbox, sent box, draft box etc........? Shuttlecloud was "fairly" sure I would not lose the info and Comcast did not know. I want to keep my current/past emails that i received with ATT. I want my same folder and such to STAY on my WLM so i can access past emails. I understand that the emails will stay on my hard drive--just want to be positive that they will still appear on WLM page so i can access them, ALONG with my new Comcast emails. Please advise. Thank you.

No. you will not lose any eMail by switching providers.

You will have a new folder structure for Comcast, but you can still see and access the old AT&T folder structure.

See: Live Mail: Compact and quick (views) for some tips on managing msgs in WLM.

Thank you. I actually went ahead and set up my new comcast emails IN WLM below my ATT email boxes. Then I dragged each inbox and other folders to make the same folders under my comcast email folders. So now the ATT emails are within the comcast email boxes/folders. So hopefully that takes care of it. Thanks for the assurance that those emails will not disappear.

    You're welcome.

The other way to accomplish the same thing is to move all inbox msgs to the storage folders inbox and use quick views.

6 of one.... you have it the way you can use it and that's all that's important.

I'm glad I was able to help, even if it was only to reassure you (I liked this thread) :)
