    Upgrading from IE9 to 11

Just curious. I still run IE9. Under optional windows updates it offers both IE10 and also IE11. Do they have to be updated in order or can I select IE11 and jump straight to it?

You can jump straight to IE11... but I would try IE10 for a while first.

You might not be able to connect to all pages of your router's interface using IE11.

    Hi,
It's better to try the first offered,
But it's not written in stone anywhere

Thanks guys. I was more curious, I have been on both 10 and 11 and found them pretty awful compared to 9 so I rolled back. Exact issue mentioned in both with inconsistent router page access and the fact MS has buggered up IE as an ftp client. Rolling back to IE9 everything just works as it should. That being said I think temptation / the need to be upto date will get the better of me at some point and I will reinstall!

I just re-downloaded ie11 again and it's working quite well
My prior mouse issues seems to be resolved and it was a large problem when I couldn't use the mouse wheel to scroll on any webpage
Like anything it could be a clash with a existing browser add-on or even a security suite,
My issue it seems was a mouse driver clash ?
We don't know much at all about your security or third party add-ons or programs so fill us in a bit and we might be able to assist ?
    Cheers.

    ThrashZone,
I was just working a thread where the OP could not load router pages via IE11 after the most recent IE11 update. Have you patched IE11 since moving to it?

Edit: scratch that. That thread was yesterday. Today offers a new IE11 update. So who knows

    Actually yes,
    I downloaded last night from,
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/ie-11-worldwide-languages
Then checked for updates and yes there was a new version,
MS13-097: Cumulative security update for Internet Explorer: December 10, 2013
So it seems like my issues are gone,
I did have a bit of an issue getting ie11 to remember the size of window to fill but it did finally kick in and fills now at 1600x1200 on my second monitor nicely,
As usual I do use Full reset before I update my browser so no conflicts in settings occur,
Then simply manually adjust them as I usually have them set,
    Tweaks for Internet explorer
    Cheers.
Oops looks like there's more updates now

Well the updates went without any issues still going good.
