Why can't I visit some website?

Right now I am having problem when visiting this website. Some mostly used websites like facebook, gmail, google work fine when I visit them but the internet denies from visiting other websites. I keep getting the 'unable to connect to the website'. This happens with all the browsers. I started to face this problem today and wasn't like this last few weeks.

See If You Are Able To Visit Website Like Facebook,Gmail....... Then There Would Not Be Any Problem From Visiting Other Website.

Your problem might be related to-

    1. Your antivirus or any website blocking software might be blocking you from accessing,so please check your antivirus setting.

2.Reset your Firewall to default. It Might Be Blocking Some Incoming And Outgoing Port.

    3.Try To Update Your Browser.

If This Doesn't Work Then Please Reply .

I noticed that my DNS is the problem somehow. The ISP is having the issues. I tried using the ipconfig /flushdns, /release and /renew but it works sometimes.
Interesting part is that I can use Skype or online gaming but cannot open a single website. This affects the other computers at home and my iPhone. To fix this issue I plug it out and replug it in to reset the wireless modem. It is tiring and you may never know when the internet access gets limited. I found many people to have the same issue but a clear method has not been found.

Check isup.me and see if it's just you, if not then the website itself is down. If it's just you check if you have accidentally blocked that website using any software like parental control software or maybe through your system firewall or any third party software. Otherwise you could reset the hosts file to default How can I reset the Hosts file back to the default?.

Erkronos, you might want to try to set your computers dns to the open dns or googles dsn servers.

    open dns
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220

    Google's open dns
    8.8.8.8
    8.8.4.4

    Are a couple.
