    Unrecognized Icon

On a few occasions I have had an unusual icon show up in my IE Address bar. When this occurs IE never loads. My question is does anyone recognize the icon in the image?

Did a little more research and the icon appears to belong to Bing.

    Hello George,

    That's the Bing logo.

    You're welcome. :)

Was it from a Bing toolbar or add-on that was installed?

I haven't added any "Add-ons" in a long time, so I doubt that's it. This has only happened twice and when it does IE won't open any sites. I have no idea why it has shown up in the address bar preceding the web address, but that seems to prevent IE from functioning. I have changed my home page from msn.com and everything is good for now.

    Thanks for the follow-up.

You might check to see if any F-Secure add-ons are installed and blocking Bing search,
    Cheers.
