My search engines return a 404 error

Google, yahoo, Bing etc. all return a page not found error lately. I trhink it might be related to "duckduckgo ".
I removed the search engine, DDG, but it is still there. Does this search engine have a bad history. I would l-ke to use Google search if I can reverse this bad behavior.

Hi,
You forgot to say which browser your using
Reset process first opening Internet explorer
You can use Clean boot to switch your default search and then uninstall the search engine via Uninstall a program,

I've personally never heard of the search before but that doesn't mean much because I lead a sheltered life
Cheers.

Most likely this add-on,

Internet Explorer Gallery

If it's IE, there are others for Firefox, Opera and Chrome.
