    Some pages will not load.

When using Internet Explorer 11 I have a problem accessing some websites, I am often unable to go any further than the website homepage, for instance when using internet banking, After I log into an account it’s here where the problem happens, I try to open a page within my account but nothing happens. This problem is not just bank sites, it can happen on others as well but not so often, however some websites give no problem whatsoever.
I have tried Internet Explorer 9 and 10 but it’s just the same, I have changed security settings to no avail and have disabled and uninstalled add-ons, including Adblock Plus. Maybe it’s an HTTP, HTTPs issue
There is no problem when using Firefox.

I recently did a clean reinstall because I had some Win 7 niggles, including this Internet Explorer problem. I thought I’ll do a reinstall that’ll sort it out, it was okay for a couple of days but then the trouble returned again.

I am using Win 7 home premium 64 bit and Microsoft’s Security Essentials and Windows Firewall.

Another thing that may or may not be related to this problem is an issue with Thunderbird.
I try to send an email to 17 address’s but they won’t send, nothing happens, again I have tried just about everything, uninstalling, reinstalling older Thunderbird versions, changing security settings.
What I have discovered however is that after I reduced the emails from 17 to 11 everything was okay, most strange!

Hi. Hmm. interesting.. Do you have to use IE?
becouse i suggest not IE is one of the worst browsers in the world for a reason
I got a weird problem where my Firewall blocked all HTTP and HTTPS sites. So everything without that worked flawlessly but when trying to access a HTTP or HTTPS site it was like someone dragged the handbrake.
So look into the firewall and se what it is doing,
Stop using IE and use Firefox or Chrome.
If the firewall doesent work then tell me

    Hi,
Most likely a simple compatibility view issue,
While on the site before you login,
Use Alt+TB or Gear symbol and Compatibility view settings,
Click on the Add button because the site is already listed in the sites box,
    Close the popup window,
Hit the F5 key to refresh the page and sign in,
    Test.
Add blockers have at times do more than just blocking adds
    Popup widows as well.
I would suggest reset and or post some screen shots of your Show all add-ons pages,
    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1222-internet-explorer-reset.html
    After Resetting ie9 or 10,
I would add this to the tutorials process
    Gear symbol and Manage add-ons,

Also fill in your system spec's page and add which Security suite and other third party utilities you have installed,
    Cheers.

    Hi sisrace

I do have Firefox and Chrome as well but I prefer IE, I like it’s many features, I also find the image quality slightly better, particularly text colours, another reason is the familiarity of IE, especially for the oldun’s like myself
I don’t think it’s about which is the best browser, it’s all about what’s best for the individual.

I thought I’d look into Windows Firewall again as you suggested, I turned it off and turned it on, no change, I did a few other things and then I turned Windows Firewall off and on again, bingo, 2 of the 3 websites now working properly! This was done using IE10.
I then reinstalled IE11 and now everything’s okay.

    Hi ThrashZone

I had already tried what you suggested, however if the problem returns I’ll be looking there again.

Has anybody any ideas about the multiple emails problem?
I do have a domain name and am wondering if it could be a hosting problem.

    Thanks folks

Hi well you didn't fill in your system spec's page or post any screen shots

Other than that you might try Gear symbol and safety and see if Active x filtering is checked if so uncheck it,
Also see if EPM has been activated,

    Cheers.
