    Download Pictures in Outlook 2010

I am unable to download pictures with my incoming mail. I have already set Trust Center to allow this, but with no success. What should I try next? I have Win 7 Ultimate and Office 2010 Pro.

Are you using HTML or Rich Text format for your outgoing messages? Do you get an error when you attempt to download the pictures currently?

    Dowmload Pictures in Outlook 2010

I send emails in HTML format. I can go straight to a web site when I click on an icon but if I try to save a picture as a .png, I get an error. I am using Firefox as my main browser btw. I don't know if it's relevant to this, but I can't load any web sites when I use IE9; it just waits interminably. Other browsers have no problem.

I have fixed the IE9 problem but I'm still unable to persuade Outlook to download pictures. All I get is the triangle, square and circle placeholder.

    Hi,
I had the same issue after installing Office 2010. Rather than mess about here is a webpage detailing the settings:

I have seen that site and it's very useful. Unfortunately the suggested solutions don't work for my download problem.

Tried these solutions too but in the end had to just re-create the user's local profile. Problem solved.
