    Updating browser

I was doing some updates & under Important, I see both IE10 & IE11. The main reason I'm asking which to go to is because I've read a few posts stating that Gadgets don't work correctly in IE11 & that the Address/Search Bar & Tabs Bar are on the same row & cannot be changed to "Show tabs on a separate row" as before in IE9.

I only use 1 Gadget & it's more for novelty. It's the Death Star Gadget (picture below). I don't remember where I DL'd it from, but I've had it for some time & really like it.

Will I still be able to use my gadget & have Address/Search Bar & Tabs Bar on separate rows if I upgrade to IE11?

    Hi,
ie11 does not like third party Gadgets Microsoft has deemed them a Security risk and most will not be available,
You might try ie10 it hasn't had many issues with toolbars or gadgets I've noticed or heard of,

Show tabs on a separate row is still an option in either version,
    Cheers.

Thank you. I'm going w/IE10, I'd rather not go through any problems uninstalling IE11 if I don't like the way my gadget works/looks; then again, I may (at a later date) take the 'security over novelty' approach.

Funny how Gadgets were Microsoft's idea to begin w/& soon after MS said they were not a good idea because of
    serious vulnerabilities.

I did find out who created the Death Star Gadget (sergiogarcia9, a member of sevenforums), but I cannot find a way to contact him. His last post (on July 30th, 2010) stated
"Today, i have decided to not post on here anymore. I can be contacted via IM if you need me for anything "

Yeah, he burned his bridges on several forums unfortunately. He wanted to change his name here to the name of his website, and when the Admins balked, he walked. He then burned bridges at several customization sites. Unfortunate as he was a nice guy. Looks like he is active on Twitter
