    google chrome


    hello every time i try to install chrome on my laptop running windows 7 64 bit i get an error,does it run using 64 bit 7 ?

    1. Go to Start > Run and type in the following and then press OK: regedit
    2. Find the following reg key:

    For Vista/Win7: The value of 'ImageState' in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\State
    For XP: The value of 'AuditInProgress' in HKLM\System\Setup

    3. Right click the reg key and select Modify
    4. Delete the value then press OK.

    Again, modify reg keys only if you're comfortable.

    I found this on Google Chrome help. Use it if you want to.......it turns audit mode off

    under default it says value not set ?

    You may want to delete the value. If it's not set, I don't know what to do. I found that poking around on Chrome help.

    ok thank you,i am a bit wary about changing things in regedit so i will stay with Firefox for now.
