Windows 7: IE11 Crashes

IE11 Crashes

For a variety of reasons I switched from Firefox to IE11 four or five days ago.

I get frequent IE crashes when I search from the address bar (my default search engine is google); I do not crash from searches. I've read elsewhere that google and IE don't play together very well.

Yesterday & today I got crashes at other sites as well, including the bing toolbar download page. I would think that IE and bing would be able to play together a bit better than google!

Does anyone know a fix for this or is it just one of those facts of life? Should I revert to IE 10? If so, any tricks to doing that?

Hi I would use these free scanners to make sure everything is clean,
Post the scan results,
Review Jacee’s instructions to run Adwcleaner here post #7,
Ignore the title of the thread,
Instant Savings App
Screen shot of the download button to use for Adwcleaner
You can use these free tools to see if they find anything,
Manually Update them before running full scans,
Try not to use your computer while the scans are running, (one at a time of course).
Uncheck the box to Activate the Free trial from the final install options,
This one is the longest up to 4 hours, the others are only about 45 minutes,

You could also see what a reset does,
Export Favorites to html file before resetting Internet explorer/ just to be safe.

Tutorial of Resetting Internet explorer,
Accessing Internet Options from the Start menu search,
Reset process first opening Internet explorer
