could be something to do with your hosts file or a firewall blocking your connection
Welcome to the Seven Forums.
What is your home page set to for Chrome?
You might want to look at your HOSTS file:
Strange looking Host found?
It keeps changing the startup page on my googlechrome, back to 127.0.0.1 after i fix it.
I like to know what process causes such changes...
...so I use Process Monitor
...like I did in this post/videos.
You might prefer to just cure the problem via some scanning tools - in which case, you will need to wait for someone to help you run those tools.
I dunno...but i wish i had a link or knew of a tool that would fix it. O r @ least knew where to go to fix it.
Have you scanned for both malware and adware yet? If not download, install, decline the trial, update and run a full scan with Malwarebytes | Free Anti-Malware & Internet Security Software to check for serious infection first, followed by SUPERAntiSpyware - Downloads to check for spy and adware.
Check Browser Add-Ons and Search, disable any but Flash. If you see strange entries uninstall them in Control Panel.

Be sure to at least establish a Clean Boot and use the recommended AV for best performance.
There's a Microsoft fix it to reset Hosts to default vaules:
How can I reset the Hosts file back to the default?
Se if that helps
