    Hi,
I'm unaware that ie8 was even able to log into gmail at all,
Google dropped support for ie8 long ago,
Pretty much when ie10 was released,
Otherwise the only option for x-p was to use Chrome or Firefox...
    Cheers.

It always worked with the XP computers I've used before end of life. After that, I'm not sure. Maybe Google dropped support because of the end of life too. Google is having problems with some IE browsers because it calls IE11 a old browser when it is the latest version of IE which is supported by Google.

    Hi,
I'm not seeing that either ?
Compatibility view is usually the problem with that message ie "Update your browser"
    Cheers.
