What is this in Yahoo Mail now...

I haven't been liking my Yahoo lately and when that HeartBleed thingy came out and it was hit hard with Yahoo accounts and I was actually having a lot of problems with my Yahoo and changed my pw many times...I just don't really trust it anymore. And now I notice that it keeps asking me to add this application to mail links...and I tried to google any info on it and I wasn't very successful with it. So maybe someone in here can tell me what this is and what it does etc. etc.

    /us-mg5.mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch?

There were more numbers at the end but I wasn't sure if it was part of my account number or what so I didn't add those.

I think it's time I found myself a different email service that was more reliable and SAFE. Any suggestions?

Thanks for any help anyone can offer

    Hi Maxie...

Thanks for that link...it basically answered my own thoughts sotospeak. I have my location in my settings to off and everything else in my profile is also set to private...so I really don't appreciate Yahoo basically nosing around and looking into my personal settings for my location and then publishing it for one...and then reading my mail that comes in and goes out for two...It's time for a new email service...But I have no clue who's secure and who to trust and who's safe. Any ideas?

    Hi,
Most webmail services lean to the Social end of settings,
Google is probably the worst always pushing Google+ services which is another can of worms,
Although I do use gmail I also use Hotmail.com and outlook.com which aren't too bad they just take a little getting used to as far as format..
    Cheers.

Thanks Maxie I'll check those out

I couldn't agree with you more. I too have a gmail account just for those stupid accounts that wouldn't accept any other site and you needed to have a google+ to go with it. I rarely even sign into it because I just don't care for google anymore.

I'm sorry but their "soon" isn't soon enough for me and I really just don't trust them anymore. They may be doing away with this and that to gain some of it's loyal members back...but I think once I found out they were spying on me without my knowledge they lost me for good. If I knew they were legit and true to their people then maybe but that's a HUGE maybe. I thank you for the info

    Thanks nice link Computer0304,
I would then suggest outlook.com if you use office at all
They have improved the spam filters and added a clear easy to find block option for annoying emails that might slip through,
Although the limit I believe is 300,
    Cheers.

I actually was trying to use outlook...but I have a small problem with it...and you're going to laugh at me...I've tried to send several emails from outlook but I never actually could because I can't find the "send" button. Go ahead and get your laughs out but seriously I've looked everywhere in all the tabs and it's not there😔
