    Cannot open any hyperlinks


    This is embarrassing because 1)I've read all kinds of information online about this problem and 2) I cannot make a screen shot in spite of all the instructions posted here.

    "This operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact you system administrator."

    I know this is a common issue, and I should be able to fix it. But I can't. I have fooled around with different browsers, and I suspect that is the problem. I have tried the "Tools/Internet Options/" instructions given on the Microsoft page. "Make Default" is grayed out, so I cannot select it to make IE my default browser again. There are lots of sites which give lengthy instructions about H KEYS, but don't tell me how to get to them in the first place.

    Is there a simple fix?

    Thanks, NoN. I'll take a look.

    An interesting (but probably unconnected to this issue) problem is that this forum's pages freeze up on me. Can't scroll up or down. But if I go to the forum by Googling it and finding my thread, then I can make the page move. Bizarre.
