Can anyone help me get rid of this certificate problem?

    Can anyone help me get rid of this certificate problem?


    I have several computers and this problem is happening on all of them. So many times that I have already removed my email program (Postbox) from my laptop and switched to Thunderbird. That seemed to cure the problem. It's only been the last few days.

    These messages keep popping up at a regular basis and they are driving me batty. Somewhere I read that I should remove the certificate. Which one since I apparently have hundreds of them on each computer.

    My ISP is dslextreme and they handed off the email chore to that gmail outfit. I really want to stay with Postbox and I can't change my ISP until June but I'm tempted to. My ISP has nonexistent tech support when it comes to email.

    Any ideas? Thanks for reading this.

    pop is gmail.com
    smtp is gmail.com
    Browser is Firefox
    avast! Internet Security
    Malwarebytes Antimalware
    Super Antispyware

    Thanks for the reply

    I use Firefox and my Internet security suite is avast Internet Security. Latest version and it's up to date.
    I have 6 computers and have this problem on all of them. I tried turning off mail checking on avast! and it made no difference although I am thinking about uninstalling it completely on one computer and seeing what happens.

    This problem only started a few days ago.

    Any thoughts?

    You probably need to use different ports/ I have no idea which ones to use for Thunderbird or your other service ?
    But if you noticed My server does not require Encrypted connection/ or SPA. only SMTP.

    You are correct but my ISP requires SSL for pop.

    Point of interest, I got no warnings on any computer today. I wonder if it is done?

    If it doesn't get solved I will go to another antivirus.
