Flash player is click to play per element so that it's not activated for the whole page.

Hmmmm......."Search Box".

I assume you are referring to a box at the top of FF and Palemoon where you can directly enter a search term.

I don't have one. I had one in FF and got rid of it a year or more ago. When I changed to PM, it didn't come back, which is fine----I don't want it.

I was referring to the search engine shown on the flyout menu when you select random text and right click it. I don't often use it, but would prefer Google when I do.

Hmmm....OK. I just brought the search box back, changed to Google, and then hid it again. Now it searches by Google.

All is well.

Firefox not working
I have installed firefox 3 times and everytime I try to start, it tells me it can't find a certain file. Firefox can’t find the file at /C:/ProgramData/Plusdaxs/ I did a system restore but it only restored to a day before. I hate Windows 7 with a passion- nothing but problems.
