YouTube video volume randomly muted on Firefox

Starting today, I've found that the volume on YouTube videos is sometimes muted, even though I never adjust the volume. I haven't tested this in IE, so I don't know if the problem is occurring on both browsers. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hello, Youtube recently published this on the issue.

    Code:
"We're currently working to resolve an issue where videos start playing with the
sound muted by default. As we
investigate, please try adjusting the volume slider in the bottom left corner of the video player to enable sound. Alternatively, you can try viewing
the video in HTML5 by opting into the HTML5 trial http://www.youtube.com/html5."

Sorry the formatting on the CodeBox was mucked up:

"We're currently working to resolve an issue where videos start playing with the sound muted by default. As we investigate, please try adjusting the volume slider in the bottom left corner of the video player to enable sound. Alternatively, you can try viewing the video in HTML5 by opting into the HTML5 trial http://www.youtube.com/html5."

Thanks. I forgot to mention that I already started using the html5 player about two months ago, but I do still have the Adobe Flash Player plugin installed and enabled.

    Ohh this is strange.

Run CCleaner to clean up your registry.

    BACK UP FIRST.

    Link in my sig.

I backed up the registry and cleaned it with CCleaner last night. So far, I haven't had any problems with the volume.

Well, things were okay for a while, but I just opened a video and the volume was muted.

Update: I'd say it's been about a month since YouTube videos were randomly muted in Firefox for me, so it looks like the problem has been solved. I don't think I need to bump this thread, so I'll quietly mark it solved. Thanks for the support, HP.
