Well; I just looked myself; and it appears there is not a way to de-select it. Even though there should be. You may just have to uninstall it to get rid of it.

i understand and do often
but it's really sad make an image before installing a program like opera mail ,it's even portable
i mean windows should have a better uninstaller

I HATE "Uninstallers" like REVO and other stuff like that.
If the wretched program doesn't install properly then RESTORE your system from a decent backup image before you installed the program -- you should ALWAYS take regular backups before installing software -- doesn't take long and if it doesn't work or uninstall properly then simply restore again -- shouldn't with most hardware take more than 30 mins with a proper backup program.
If you aren't doing regular backups then start TODAY.
I have experimented off and on with various SSBs (Single Site Browsers) in conjunction with web apps such as Gmail and G calendar, usually on my Mac. I have found SisterB SSB, and am using it with Gmail and it works pretty well but I can find no way to make Windows 7 accept it as an email client...
I use AOL mail in 9.7 AOL Desktop & I tried to set AOL as my default email client in the Win 7 Default Programs>Set Program Access And Computer Defaults>Associations/Protocols. There was only 1 "Protocol" showing for AOL Software namely "Mail To" so I checked it.
