Where did you install from ?
It looks like Adobe does have a new BETA version 16, and they now have PPAPI installers available for all Chromium based browsers.
Do you use a Chromium based browser and need to install the PPAPI version ?

- PPAPI Installers for Windows and Mac
We're pleased to announce that we now have PPAPI installers for the standard version of Flash Player for Windows and Mac. Previously, this version of the Player was available only as an integrated component of Google Chrome. With the introduction of these installers, Flash Player is now available for all Chromium based browsers using the PPAPI interface. Please note that these installers are not required nor used by Google Chrome. Chrome will continue to include Flash Player without requiring any additional installation.
I installed from the above link on this forum, I use Opera. I think the stable version is the way to go with Adobe .
I get it from this offered on this site
I thought Flash Player is built into Opera, like it is in Chrome, so FP is updated with a browser update..
I could be wrong, maybe someone here that uses and knows Opera can confirm or correct me on that.
I don't think Opera has Adobe built in . Am i downloading the right one based on my screenshot ?
I do believe Opera is Chromium based.
Thank you
Well I usually fully remove the old version(s) first using the instructions on the adobe website:
https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player...r-windows.html - a reboot is required.
Then clean install the latest version by downloading the .exe version(s) from here:
Adobe Flash Player Distribution | Adobe
They don't come bundled with other extras that you don't need.
So you need EXE Installer (Windows) for IE
and
EXE Installer (Windows) for other plugin based browsers (not Chrome)
As for Opera I'm using the portable version and it requires the "other plugin based browsers" version. I don't know about the desktop version of Opera.

Thats another thing i don't understand , if i need the IE or non IE version.
If you use IE - you need the IE version. If you don't use IE - you don't need the IE version.
If you use any other plugin based browser (but not Chrome) then you also need the plugin based version.
So on my machine I've got at least 6 browsers installed. The IE version of flash player takes care of IE. The plugin based version takes care of all the other browsers that don't have their own version of flash player built in.
I only use IE sporadically is why i ask . Very seldom overall but sounds like if you use it at all you need the IE version.
