Mozilla Thunderbird problem

When i try to delete a message on Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail client it does not delete it.

I have the latest version of firefox and i'm using latest Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail client.

I point with mouse the message i want to delete and press the right mouse button and a window pop ups which
i select 'Delete message'.

Nothing happens. The message is not go away and not transfered to the trash folder.

I found a link to 3.2 version beta of a more recent Mozilla Thunderbird than the final 3.1 version and it works now.
