Firefox will load websites only when it feels like it

I've noticed that no matter what I do, at one point or another Firefox does not want to load websites that I want to visit. It really isn't even a matter of a certain website, it just decides when and when not to load a website. For instance, one day I could type in YouTube.com and it will load perfectly and then the next it just wants to hang there and do nothing (unless I am just impatient). I can see the little thing in the tab spinning, but it will not load the website. The only way I can get it to load is to press the "X" in the URL bar to stop it from loading and press the reload button. When I press the reload button it goes straight to the website. Once again this could be for any website: Google, IMDb, Facebook, etc. Sometimes they load and sometimes they don't until I reload the website.

Any suggestions on how to fix this problem? It only seems to happen in Firefox; Chrome and IE all load the websites just fine. Please let me know. Thank you. (I am up to version 32 in Firefox)

Try deleting the cache & history. Next time it happens try Ctrl+F5

F5 will reload the page, but Ctrl+F5 also overrides the cache

I have Firefox set to clear my history when I close it so I don't think that is the problem.

Resetting Firefox seems to have helped. I will come back if I have any more problems. Thank you.
