I have a question about Windows Live Mail
If I open Windows Live Mail, then leave it connected to the server, does it make it possible for someone to get into my E Mail?

The way it usually works, is by POP3 access to your mail server (just a couple of other options available, the mail protocol is simple). What Windows Live Mail is doing, is logging-into the mail server - every now and again - to check for new messages and/or send; then it will act according to what options are set and this is really the only concern, but nothing to do with security.. There are options for your mail to be deleted from the server, once downloaded; or archived; or similar. Ofc., it's possible for anyone sitting @ your machine to access it - while logged in. =)

Thank you. From what you say the only way to access is on my computer?
