    Cookies being deleted by something outside browser..?


    Hello, i have THE SAME (copied) firefox profile on two different computer that have THE SAME APPS installed/running. It's been quite long i have an issue, which is being disconnect from forums/websites on one of these machine's firefox. I did malwares & antivirus test, nothing was found. Any ideas what to do..?

    Same antivirus too?

    The only thing I can think of on top of my head is if you use CCleaner. They made a change in the latest version to include the file monitor even for free users. When you start CCleaner another process is also started to monitor changes on the disk. I'm not sure but think it only alerts and not automatically cleans. Don't know cause I disabled it immediately. Well not immediately because there was a bug in CCleaner, but in the version published 26 sept you can turn that off.

    I think I have an earlier version. I checked all its settings anyway.

    If you don't find the problem I guess a workaround could be to change history setting to Never Remember History. It's like having Private Browsing on all the time. It won't write to disk but only use RAM, which I assume must mean impossible for something outside the browser to delete cookies

    Hi,
    Which antivirus do you use ?
    Avast does the same as ccleaner might after a full scan which is deleting cookies

    Is the name of your a.v. a secrete or something because I've never heard of Not Avast
