How to print GBP sign £ from Windows Live Mail?

    Hi,
Using windows 7 and windows live mail, when I type an email message within which is the ukp £ sign and then print a copy of the sent email the £ sign does not show on the print but rather displays a couple small squares instead of the £ !
    Any advice please?

What Font are you using? I use Times New Roman in Wordperfect and the Alt + 156 keys to get the GB Pound Symbol and it prints. Also work for Ariel. Both are in my Windows 7 Fonts Folder [Control Panel].

The boxes suggest the Font used in printing is missing or not the same as the screen Font, either on your computer or the recipient's computer. Or it may be in the difference between languages if they are not the same.

Thanks for that. I'm using Calibri and don't need to use Alt+ keys, my ukp sign is shift + 3 = £
Using MY pc my email message in wlm shows the £ sign ok but when print using MY pc and MY printer it shows little squares instead.
When I return to the pc/printer I'll try a few different fonts.
    Cheers
