Ff32 & ie11 browsers won't retain my home pg.

I run FF 32 + IE 11 browser & neither browser will retain the home pg (website) I choose.

Googled the net for solutions tried several to no avail.

Have also done several malware, trojan, virus, toolbar, etc. scans to no avail.

Running W7.

Any suggestion are greatly appreciated.

About Firefox that's normal when Firefox is upgraded. It will temporarily override your home page and show a new one with information about the upgrade. Or do you mean it's not temporary and always shows this as home page even if you close Firefox and restart it?

Why do home made CDs andDVDs retain data for a short time?
I guess most of you have experienced the CD-R or DVD-R that you burned a few years ago that has no data on it now. The logic is strange; Windows says there is no data on the disc so I try to write, it then says the disk is full!! What happens to the data does it evaporate? I mean a laser burnt...
