I see! Well, I couldn't find one on the 8.1 desktop. It should have came with one, since it was bought from a retail store. I wrote the information down. I will write the information down tomorrow on my sisters' computer. How do you even do a clean install? These computers came with no disks. I just hope the thing don't crash. It hasn't crashed, since I fixed the display driver. It's never crashed due to a virus or bug.

Windows 8 Product Key is built into the BIOS ... As for a Clean Install of Windows 7 that is simple enough ..

Read the Tutorial below when you have the time ..

Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

You do even need to have the Windows Disc as the ISO is included in the Tutorial ..

Maxie, I meant to ask you this. How are you supposed to fix 8 and 8.1, if it's in the BIOS?

This is for your Sisters Laptop .. Does she have a Recovery Partition ? If you mean to do a Clean Install would need the Windows Disc ..

No. This is for my mom's 8.1 desktop. I am just asking you, wouldn't it be hard to recover or find the product number on 8 computers if it's in the BIOS.

You do not need to find it ... If your Mom has a Recovery Partition and ever needs to use it ... It will Reset Windows back to Factory Settings ...

No, my sisters' laptop is just like mine with a Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS. The only difference in mine and theirs', is that it has a Intel Pentium processor. Mine has a E2 AMD Vision processor.
