    Dell XPS 410 desktop.

Embedded videos in IE11 do not how up. In Firefox not a problem. Uninstalled and re- installed Adobe Flash Player. Still not working.

Shut down Windows Firewall no change.

Are you sure it's Flash videos? You can test the plugin here: Adobe - Flash Player

Also note that it's separate Adobe Flash installs for Firefox and IE. IE's is the ActiveX one, and Plugin is the Firefox one if you check your installed programs.

Interesting that looking in Manage Add-ons it shows Adobe Flash Player enabled yet when going to Adobe website per your link an checking to see if Adobe installed it says it is Not installed. So I downloaded and installed again with the same result "not installed".

The plug-in for Firefox is installed and working.

ActiveX-filtering means you need to turn that off on EVERY site you want ActiveX objects to be allowed.

Sorry, did you disable ActiveX-filtering totally or just disabled it on the adobe site?

This is how you turn if off on only a web site, in this example it's for the site MSN.com

Yes. Just to be clear, to turn it off completely you uncheck it from: Tools > Safety > ActiveX Filtering

You should also note that not all videos on web sites are Flash Videos. Silverlight by Microsoft is also common. Here's a test page: Microsoft Silverlight

If you give me an example of a video site that doesn't work for you I can check what type it is.
