Do this for every browser you have, to show if and what Flash Player version it uses. Go to https://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
From there you can go to the "Player Download Center" to install a new version if there is one. I do this first in IE, then in Firefox, because it's different Flash Players installs. But because Firefox and Opera uses the same Flash player version I don't have to do the install for Opera. The easiest way to verify this is to go to the Flash about page in Opera, the first link in this post, after I installed the Flash Player for Firefox.
You can also go to the Windows Control Panel - Flash Player, tab "Advanced". It lists three different players:
- Active-X (used in Internet Explorer)
- NPAPI (used in plug-in based browsers like Firefox, Opera etc)
- PPAPI (Pepper based browsers like Chrome) This shows "Not installed" for me
HTH :)
Thanks guys , I understand much better now .
