Internet Explorer Bookmark Mysteries- can YOU solve this problem?

Look at this photo. See where the SPORTS folder is? See all those bookmarks in it?

Move the SPORTS folder to the top of the browser--and the folder is empty, and creates a space to the left of the word 'Sports.'

    Can't delete it, either:

Can this be fixed? Or- can I totally uninstall IE---completely, gone, and reinstall and new clean version?

How did you get all those across the top in the first place ?

Yep, uninstall IE11 back to IE 8.

And when you re install IE11 and it asks you if you would like to turn on favorite sites say no.

The only favorites listed on the favorites bar should be the ones you put there.

well, just import the folders from Chrome and re-order them, since they show up in reverse order, which is irritating. Chrome and FF are SO much easier to work with. So how do I uninstall 11 back to 8?

if you don't want all those favorites ,and want to start with an empty /default favorites folder ,shutdown IE ,then just go to c:\users\brinke and delete the favorites folder ,then restart IE ,they should be all gone .now this is only if you want to start IE favorites to defaults, if you want you could just move the favorites folder you have now instead of deleting it to anther location in case you want to get back to what you have now ,if you don't under stand what I am saying just ask for me to clarify
