Cannot open any email link- missing an association?

    Guys-

Today my Win7 Professional installation begin giving me the following error message "this file does not have a program associated with this action. Check default programs to associate an action with this functiion."

When clicking with any email, either from a vendor website or from within a news provider website and I click on it to open the link, I get this message above & am stopped from further action.

I opened my default "set associations" dialog box but cannot determine what link is incorrectly listed, thus preventing me from opening links.

Anyone out there know what link is associated with this kind of action? Again, I opened the associations dialog box but don't know which association to change. I use Opera as my main browser but also have Internet Explorer installed.

Any suggestions are welcome & thanks in advance for your assistance.

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
As a guess I would say it's a html hyperlink which would open in your default browser,
Reset that browser and see if that helps,
You didn't say which one your using so it's difficult to be specific
Also which ones do you have installed and which security do you have installed
    Cheers.
