Conflict between IE 11 and Dell V310 Series Printers

With IE 11 installed, the printer will print only one job. After that you must reboot the computer to enable printing another job, and so on. The Dell forum solution is to uninstall IE 11 which automatically reverts back to IE 10. A few months ago I did this and it worked. However, prior to acquiring IE 11 I was using IE 10. Recently I had to completely reinstall windows 7 and best I can remember the default IE was version 9. I could hardly use my computer until one morning I received notification that I had 107 updates ready to install. I installed the updates and all my problems disappeared. But in the process I ended up with IE 11 and once again along with the printing problems it causes.

I've looked back through all the currently installed updates and can find no evidence that IE 10 was ever installed. I've tried to download IE 10 but am denied because "I have the latest IE version" My question is: Since IE 10 was not my last IE version, and I delete IE 11 will it automatically revert to IE 10? I don't want to be left without any IE.

I uninstalled IE 11 and hid it.

After reboot I have IE 9. Tried to download IE 10. No cigar! Wants me download IE 11. Would sure like to have IE 10, since my wife's computer has IE 10.

    Any ideas?

    Hi,
Restart your machine and manually recheck for updates,
There might be security updates for ie9 that need to be installed first,
On the top left of the updates window you'll see check for updates,
    Cheers.
