Internet Explorer 11 process working in background without preloading
Dear Sevens Forum
Nice to meet you all
I have perfromed system recovery from my Hard-Drive on my Toshiba Laptop L50-1E8 (which was a refurbished model (I backed up some things from my documents that contained such as word documents and excels)
After hours of updating all the updates from Windows Update (one of the Last being IE11) and installing AVG 2015 professional (trial period) as well as the AVG's browser plugin.
I checked the all processes in my taskmanager to find iexplore.exe (run from C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer folder)
I found this article
Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) Preloads Websites Content in Background to Optimize Performance - AskVG
following the article, I unchecked the "Load sites and content in the background to optimize performance" and that got rid of the i.explore.exe for a while but it came back onto the list of processes of Task Manager.
I have scanned my computer with
Malwarebytes
AVG
MSShield
but found no malware.
I have downgraded IE11 to IE9 (as IE10 seem to do the same) now but still would like my fellow Window7 users is it Normal for Internet Explorer to be this intrusive in the name of "reseaching what we like to browse so that the webpages can be displayed easier"?
