Black lines beneath my Chrome window

I thought it was this theme that I installed on here, but there's a black line running 3/4 of the way across the bottom of the screen from right to left. I read somewhere that this only occurs when you have your taskbar at the bottom of the screen, and this problem often appears on Chrome version 31 and up. Not that it matters, but most users oft report that there are other "glitches" that mess with the display of controls and elements inside Web pages.

So it is only in chrome, what happens if you disable all your extensions? If you unlock your taskbar and drag it to the top of the screen is the line still there?

Think the only other way is to disable hardware acceleration.

Is that why you marked your thread solved, you disabled hardware acceleration?

When I did that, the 2- or 3-pixels-wide line disappeared.

Is your GPU driver up to date?

Catalyst drivers are up to date.

The only difference is, I have a Dual-Graphics configuration between the onboard graphics and the GPU, but even that doesn't have any real-world benefit when it comes to surfing the web.

Is there an alternative other than disabling hardware acceleration in the options?
