Profile Photo - doesn't stay invisible

I have noticed that selecting the invisible button for my photo,in my outlook/hotmail account,doesn't ensure that it stays invisible, i.e. often when I go to logging out I see the invisibility button unticked.

What concerns me is this. Can my photo show up on an email I am sending without my knowledge or will it be there, i.e. evident in the email I am about to send if it is available?

A swift reply to this would be very welcome - I am about to give my email to someone new.

What "profile photo" are you referring to?

Are you talking about an email client or a browser?

Sorry I thought I had mentioned it was in my outlook/email account. Now rectified i.e. edited my OP.
Yes it keeps changing there from invisible to available. I now see (from a google search) that this has
been a constant problem for years and doesn't seem to be rectified.

So, really, I just need to know that the photo can't show up on a sent email without my not knowing, i.e. if the photo is suddenly available (without my say so), won't it show up on the email I am sending?

Hotmail/Outlook has recently been updated but this problem still exists in email, i.e. my profile photo has 2 options - available and invisible but it is stuck on available. Clicking on invisible does not result in the invisible option. This must be happening to everyone else with a hotmail account. How to fix it?
