I can't choose the download location when I click "Save file as.."

Hi all. Lets say I want to download a picture from google images. I right click the image and click on "save file as" option. But when the pop up thing shows up, I can't select the location I want. I will upload a screen shot for you to look. I don't know if this is about chrome settings. Please help me with this. Sometimes it downloads the file to the "Files" though i wanted it to be downloaded to my desktop.

Go into the Chrome settings. On the bottom of the page go into "Advanced Settings'. There you find the place where you can set the download options.

I tried downloading from Internet Explorer and its same. No option on the left side of window. And I tried your solution but still no..:/

Guys I solved it. I opened Command Prompt as administrator and typed "sfc/scannow". After the scan finished I restarted the computer and it was working properly.
