    Windows Live Mail

    I have lost my view of storage folders. I want to move a message to a storage folder. When I attempt to do so..I can see the folder,however when not in use, I cannot see it. Can't figure this. Thank you.

    Hello Chuck so I have it right you are just right clicking on the message to move it to a particular folder? then getting out of that and then clicking on Storage folders?
    If so I have the same thing happening. I can see the storage folders when the mail is open but not if I click on the storage bar. I have tried moving stuff to the storage folders but in most cases it tells me I must copy them not move them yet like your view I have lists of them

    I have checked out the help and it is as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike.

    If you like I can ask a friend in the forum to look at this for you if it is important for you to do that.

    Yes,thanks. Funny,when I right click on the message to send it to a folder,I can see the folder. I cannot see the folder when I do that. Hope I explained this correct. There are other folders there also. For instance there is a folder of mine that is named 'Family" where I store personal stuff. I cannot access it or see it. Thanks for help. Chuck

    Just to put in my two penny worth! I can drag and drop to the storage folders, right click a message and move or copy it to a storage folder. I can minimise or expand the storage folder using the arrow head. In fact it all works as it should. So I would guess there is a glitch in the installation if everyone with Windows Live mail cannot get it to work correctly!
    May I suggest you try;
    Control Panel > Uninstall a program> select Windows Essentials 2012> Uninstall or change> Repair all Windows Essentials Programs. Need to take this route as there is no repair facility for individual Windows Essentials programs.
