Web browser randomly returns to homepage, and keeps opening new tabs

Hey, when I load up a web browser and try to search up something, it returns back to home page, even when I'm on homepage it just reloads. My next problem is only on Google Chrome, and when I load it up, it just spams with tabs and it opens them so fast I can't even exit out of them, when I restarted, it said it was waiting for over 200 Google chrome tabs to close.

At the moment I'm using the in game steam web browser to do my web browser needs.
I also don't think it's malware, because I ran a bunch of anti malware scan from Norton, Malware bytes, and avast but none of them caught any malware.

    Hi,

Sorry to hear that. Please try Norton Power eraser (norton.com/npe) and see if that helps.

Do you have Norton and Avast installed at the same time? If yes, please disable Norton's protection while you uninstall Avast. If no, then hopefully you where just telling us that you have one antivirus app installed and that you used a on demand scanner from Norton or Avast. You could also try ESET's on demand scanner.

By the way, please complete your system specs. It has a field where you can tell us which antivirus app(s) you keep installed. Use this link to: https://www.sevenforums.com/profile.php?do=extra

If you are willing, you can uninstall all antivirus apps and use Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) while we are troubleshooting this browser issue. MSE should not impact browser windows. After the issue is resolved, you can go back to whatever antivirus app you like.
