IE11 problem will not search or go to outlook mail

I have had a lot of problems with ie11 its been months ago problems started and has gotten worse first it was if I clicked on a site in the favorite bar it took three or four clicks to get it to go to the site and when I clicked on outlook mail windows live would come up in address bar but would not go any farther so I deleted windows live and now when I click on outlook mail a blue box with IE symbol in the start and the rest of the box blank will not go any further. Now in the favorite bar I can click on (yahoo mail) and it goes to yahoo mail but when you click on a link in yahoo mail it will not open and also if I searched in bing ( bing is default and I cannot add another search engine) it shows results but I cannot open any links. Microsoft had two major updates in the past month since the last update I still have the same problem with outlook mail blank blue box with ie symbol and now when I try to search with bing I get a blank pink box in the address bar I searched every where for a solution I found one on microsoft forum that said to uninstall ie11 and reinstall ie11 when I uninstalled ie11 it went back to ie9 and down loaded updates for ie9 still had the same problems in ie9 as ie11 so I tried to reinstall ie11 it would not install it said install failed. I researched again and in a microsoft forum it said if you uninstall ie11 it would uninstall files that was only in ie10 and 11 so I installed ie10 and updates but still had the same problems so I went to microsoft down load site and down loaded ie11 it would not install it said install failed. Then I went to recovery and reset the computer to a earlier time. I now have ie11 and still have the same problems. I have cleared the cookies history and went to security and cleared it . I am back to square one with these problems. I have run a microsoft fixit program that says data execution prevention disabled fixed checked ie11 same problem run fixit program data execution disabled how do I fix this

I'm kinda surprised none of the regular browser heavies here haven't responded. I'm not one of them, but for the last couple of months I've been wrestling with IE11 problems brought on by SWMBO's insistence on using the darn thing. Yes, I really dislike IE and only use it for Windows updates. I'm slowly getting the better half to use FireFox, so my aggravation level has been decreasing. Anyway, I've found many of the issue we've had have been wrapped around IE11's security settings. I've gotten around some of the problems by putting those troublesome web sites in the trusted URL section of internet options. This was due to changing certificate credentials from MS that IE was checking. This may help with the searching problem. Not being able to open Outlook from IE is something else, but I'm not knowledgeable enough on that one. We had a similar problem with not being able to open Windows Live Mail from IE11, but I fixed it by running CCleaner with all of the options checked for IE and System (except for the last two items). When I restarted IE, it would link to WLM just fine. I'm guessing it was some sort of browser hijack from one of the sites she visits. Sorry and good luck. Really, I use FF and have nearly zero issues with it. I also launch Windows Live Mail from a desktop icon rather than from the browser.

    Hi,
I haven't seen any issues getting to outlook.com or gmail.com
I wouldn't go to yahoo.com if you paid me

Either way I did finally have to download ie11 and yes the last 2 update cycles pretty much messed ie10 up pretty good
Come the first of 2016 only ie11 will be supported.

    Your issue seems pretty weird
    Internet Explorer - Reset
A lot of this stuff still works here

Yep uninstalled ie11 it was bugging me too much
Got tiered of clicking on pages to scroll
Also was freezing seem ie11 still bites pretty bad
Thankfully Pale moon is less annoying and ie10 is working a bit better so far anyway :/
