    Fire Fox

Sucks for 7.. Or i am doing something wrong, maybe its just that it is in beta.

Firefox does not save passwords, does not even give me an option. I can not clear/modify cache settings. Accessing my school website i constantly have to DL a certificate that it wont remember. The one password it allowed me to remember (facebook) it forgot, at least it was facebook it forgot.

So whats the problem here. Is it that it is in beta or what i dont know. It is just a basic butt end browser atm, i have not seen any info as to why its like this ( just its a beta). I did not think it being in beta would make it so.. useless

Hello chopsuey, and welcome to Windows Seven Forums!

We need to know the version of 7 you are using and the release of Firefox you have installed.

I love Firefox and have almost no problems using it!

    Cheers!

Which version of FF are you using? 3.6b1? 3.6b2? 3.7a1pre?

3.6b1 had some hiccups for me as well, but 3.6b2 runs great. Also, are you using this on your home comp? Some of the problems sound like they could come from DeepFreeze or a similar program, which would make sense if you are talking about school computers.

I see your making good use of the arrows

On a more on topic note, are you possibly trying to install this on one of the new school laptops being handed out in Australia?

You just said you are on a beta, try using a prior version thats not beta.

Beta's are bound to have bugs.

Yeah, I agree. Try using 3.5.5 and see if you are still having the same issues.

    Alright. Let us know.

Also, have you tried using 3.7a1pre? It has definite speed improvements. The only thing I've noticed so far is that sometimes using Nightly Tester Tools to try and override Add-On compatibility doesn't work.
