Cannot Download Yahoo Email Attachments

    Cannot Download Yahoo Email Attachments


    This just started a couple weeks ago. I have a Yahoo email account that I use primarily as a dump account. My daughter had some docx and pdf files sent to this account from her work. She could open and view them but she could not download them to my computer. The download attempts then gives the message "Open House5.docx couldn't be downloaded". I also have an xp system and another win7 system that will download the above file from the yahoo account with no issues. I can forwarded the email to my gmail account and had no problem downloading the above file on the same computer that will not download the yahoo file. Have been researching this for a week now and trying everything I could find but nothing solves the issue.

    So far I have found that IE 9 32 bit will work. IE 10 and 11 will not work. Chrome will work. I seem to have more and more issue crop up with Internet Explorer. Just might be time to give it the boot!
