Possible bug in chromium retains history from other browsers

Possible bug in chromium retains history from other browsers.

You have chromium Version 49.0.2578.0 (64-bit) installed. You let chromium keep your internet history. You close chromium down. Then you open any other browser like firefox and you visit www.sevenforums.com then you close firefox down & reopen chromium and open chromium history and you will see what you just visited in Firefox. Google or Opera chrome does not seem to be effected by this bug but chromium still sees the history from Google or Opera chrome.

No, I didn't compile chromium to run in windows, I took a shortcut and use chocolatey package manager to install chromium. I am doing some test. No fix as far as I know.

This is based on my experience. Feel free to test it out for yourself.

    Suggest downloading Bleachbit Portable:

Download BleachBit for Windows | BleachBit

Create some history in all problem browsers and do not clear it.

Configure Bleachbit to download a new winapp2.ini - Edit> Preferences

Scroll down the left pane and check all browser cleanup options then run a "test clean" - nothing gets deleted.

Check the results window. You can highlight and copy the results into a text file. Check and compare cache / history locations for the problem browsers and see if they are sharing something.

I would not recommend running Bleachbit to actually cleanup unless you understand the consequences of checking or not checking certain items but for a "test clean" it should be fine.

In theory each browser's hostory/ cache should be stored in separate locations.

Also Flash Cookies are available cross browser so maybe it is something to do with that.
