New Firefox 43.0.3 released. See first post for more details. :)
Interesting. Both FF installs on my PC and Android tablet don't recognize that v 43.0.3 is available. PC is at v 43.0.2 and the tablet is at v 43.0. Both systems are set to auto update for FF. FF on the PC says it's up to date when checked. Not an issue, but this is the first time it's not flagged the update. I usually wait a day or two anyway as the updates usually fail the first day due to server issues.
I have installed 43.0.3 on two system about 2 days ago without any problems.
I did it manually like I always do.
Release channel shipments of new builds are always throttled (released gradually to a portion of users at one time).
But 43.0.3 shipped on Dec 28.
I would expect you ought to have received it by now, assuming your auto-updates are properly configured and the download is not being blocked (e.g. by a security application).
You can always download the full installers (not the stubs) here (this is the US site):

Tonight, the FF install on my system did the 43.0.3 update. No issues with any plugins or addons. Just sort of strange that it took this long this time.
I'm finding v43.0.4 is horrificly slow to load. I'm now getting pop up box at the bottom of the screen asking if FF is slow to load and suggesting doing a "refresh" of FF to fix it. After reading the linked page, I'm not sure what's amiss here and not sure I want to do the refresh. Perhaps I'll live with it for a while until I have time to mess with the plugins and addons. Maybe there'll be a v43.0.5 out soon that may correct things (or make them worse).
If you are having problem with version v43.0.4 I would suggest it's possible the plug in's causing the problem.
I'm using v43.0.4 and not having any problems.
I always do a update manually with only my security running and Firefox of course, nothing else. I reboot Firefox and then reboot the system.
Then I check for updates for add-on's.
Well, I booted up this morning with the intention of working on the slow load issue, but v43.0.4 is loading within two seconds. No changes to plugins, addons, or anything. Something else was at play and I don't see anything that could have caused it. Maybe the multiple runs of CCleaner that we do did something. As Emily Latella would say "Nevermind!".
