Favorites and Address book missing after reinstall on new hard drive

Win 7 and Office pro 2007. After trying to download win 10 from Microsoft´s free online offer, my laptop completely froze and would not boot. Took it to a computer shop who then reinstalled win 7 and new installed win10 on a new 1tb hard drive (partitioned 50/50) as they said the old hd was 20% corrupted. The problem is now I can´t find my IE favorites or my Outlook address book. The shop said that everything was moved over to the new hd but I can´t find them. I´ve heard that ther are a couple of different ways to move OS info: mirror imaging (is this the method Norton Ghost uses?) and file lift over/copying. Is this correct? In any case, help in restoring the files in/to their proper places would be greatly appreciated. Baby steps, please as my computer skills are basically non-existant.

Go back to the shop and ask them where they are...

Go into Control Panel, and then in the top right VIEW BY - change it to Small Icons (this is just personal preference), then select FOLDER OPTIONS..
Then in the new window that opens, select the VIEW tab at the top, and then untick the first one, tick the next 4, change to SHOW HIDDEN FILES, FOLDERS, DRIVES, and remove the ticks from the next 3... and then search again... It may have been hidden and can be considered a System file.

O.k., I hope that I have done what you said correctly, now how do I find and re-install in their proper places?
