I'm using Windows Live mail and today everything I try and send comes back with

    Delivery Status Notification (Failure).

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

please post log of any error code details. Is it to the same recipient or have you tried other recipients?

I'm not sure of your computing level, but have you verified normal internet connection? Can you load webpages? I'm assuming you can if you're using the same computer to communicate on this forum. If you know your outgoing email server, try to ping that in the command prompt and see if you get a response and see if it's alive. Also make sure your username/password are all fine.

I am using the same computer. When I use Outlook on the same computer, I can send to my Live Mail account without any problem. It also works when I use my cell phone. I know I should just switch to Outlook, but I much prefer Live's layout and ability to show several email addresses separately. I had posted the information in a returned att.dat file, but a message said that had to be approved before it could be posted.

possibly something to do with authentication. Does your mail server require outgoing email authentication? You may have to check that checkbox in the live mail server settings and input your username/password.
