Drop down menus on newegg.com not working

    Hi all,
Don't know what I did. Didn't install any new software or updates or drivers.
While surfing the web the drop down menus at Newegg.com fail to work in regular IE8. They work fine in InPrivate browsing using IE8 and while using Firefox they also work.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

Since no one else came forward to venture a guess, with this unique problem. Let me be the first. I'm probably wrong, but clean you cache. Do a disc clean up, clearing your temporary files, etc. When that is done, just hope for the best.

You could also try using compatibility mode for IE8. By the way, exactly what doesn't work with the drop down boxes? Do they not display at all? Are there any javascript errors on the page?

Thanks guys. I should have put this in my original post. After the problem began I cleared my cache, temp internet files, reset all IE settings to the default ones, and I'm still have the issue. I then check the compatibility mode of IE8 and added newegg.com, removed it and added it again.

I get no java script errors.

    Exactly what happens:
When I go to www.newegg.com the tabs list "Browse", "Computer Hardware", "Electronics", and the rest used to drop down when moused over. Now I have to click on them and they open to the right no matter which one I click on. That is in IE8. In Firefox or IE8 InPrivate browsing the "tabs" work fine, they drop down when moused over.

    Thanks again guys.

No other changes were made. Computer was not restarted or shutdown and today the menus at newegg work perfectly....odd.

Believe it or not I am running XP Pro SP3 w/IE8 and can't use the drop down menus since last week. On my other box, XP Pro SP3, I can. Weird.

I noticed the same thing. But it's fine now. I figured it was on newegg's side.
