    Cannot uninstall Opera completely

    Hello SF.

I am having problems of killing Opera from my laptop.
I uninstalled it, and deleted the folder for it in program files. But somehow it is still showing in the 'Uninstall programs' list. And when i try to uninstall it this happens:

    Cannot uninstall Opera completely-1.png

    I click ok

    Cannot uninstall Opera completely-2.png

I click ok (goes back to first picture) Then i click Cancel, then this comes up

    Cannot uninstall Opera completely-3.png

And i tried to delete the entry with CCleaner but it didnt work.

sergiogarcia9, boot into safe mode then un-hide all folders and files. Follow the path to the application and see if you can delete it.

And what do you mean by path? Is it the folder of the application? :S

If it happens again, and you know you have uninstalled the program but you still see it listed, you can the Microsoft Installer Cleanup Utility. Also. CCleaner has a section that will remove entries from that list too - but again, it should only be used if you have uninstalled the program, but it is still listed.
