WLM not downloading

    WLM not downloading


    Have just done a clean install and go to install WLM and keep getting this error - 0x80040705.

    Any ideas please as it states there is no known cause?? Plus I do notice too that Windows Live Essentials is now just Windows Essentials - would this be a cause??

    ICIT2LOL - Have you tried downloading the offline installer instead? You can download it here:

    How do I install Windows Essentials while offline? - Windows Help

    Scroll to the bottom where it says "Essentials installer files for Windows*7, Windows*8.1 and Windows*Server*2008"
