Strange behaviour Waterfox (firefox) while surfing...

    Hi All,

I am having constantly problems with my browser called Waterfox.
Waterfox is a kind of Firefox, but then 64-bit...

I am surfing now with about 20 tabs.
Every ± 10 seconds, my Waterfox says "Not Responding".
The browser take then a lot of RAM, and goes further with surfing.

Here a shot of my RAM usage:

As you can see, the RAM usage goes every few moments fast up.
That is as the browser says "Not Responding".

Is here someone that knows to solve this problem?
I know I can switch from browser, but I don't like that.
I will only switch if that is the latest option...
    But hopefully not.

    Kind regards,

    Rik
    PS. My system is:

    Core i5 3570K
    8GB DDR3 RAM
    GTX 650 Ti 2GB GDDR5
    120GB SSD + 500GB HDD.

have a look at these settings,
Not sure are you running a Beta 64 version, if so might be a glitch..

    Hi torchwood,

I have the latest version of Waterfox.
But what do I need to do at my "Cached Web Content"?
Should I click on "Clear Now"?
Because my Waterfox says, "Your web content cache is currently using 350MB of disk space".
And I didn't modified the standard 350MB, so is the cache full?

    Thanks for your fast reply.
    Greetings, Rik

    Hi Rik,
Have a look at that view just before you think it might freeze, see what its at, adjust it up accordingly.

It also might be that your comps looking for updates as well, it does it quite a few times a day now.

    Hi Roy,

Since two days, my Waterfox doesn't freeze anymore.
I didn't change a setting, but constantly freezing doesn't appear anymore.

But I am going to take look at Windows Update.

I thank you for all your effort.
And if something is going wrong, I'll create a new topic.

    This one is solved now.
    Greetings, Rik
