frustration playing CNN videos

I did not see where you answered my questions that I asked in post #8:

Have you tested playing CNN videos while in the safe mode with networking?

Have you looked to see if your HOSTS file is blocking anything?

Let us know if you need help getting into the safe mode or checking the HOSTS file.


What do you see when you try to play a CNN video?

Also, (just as a test) you might want to uninstall everything related to Baidu.

Safe mode didn't help; the Hosts file was empty. However, uninstalling Baidu made all the difference. The CNN videos now play in Chrome. Thank you!
