    Appearance question on Windows Live Mail


    I had someone install Windows Live Mail 11 on my laptop. Since that is no longer available, I installed version 12 on my desktop, on which I just installed Windows 7.

    On version 12 the mail section is running vertical instead of horizontal and I'm wondering if that is the way it's supposed to look. See how the email opens alongside my inbox, instead of under it. If there is a way for me to change this I'd like to know because I really don't like this very well.

In the "From" column of Windows Live Mail, there is a small green arrow over the envelopes on some emails. What does this represent ? I have tried looking about everywhere else without ANY success~~~
